Raleigh, NC — A week after officially launching his campaign, E.C. Sykes, a widely respected business leader and man of faith, has announced his campaign team.
Much like his professional career, E.C. Sykes has assembled a best-in-the-field campaign team with experience on the national stage and within North Carolina. The team includes Ethan Zorfas of Axiom Strategies serving as General Consultant, LaDonna Ryggs serving as Field and Grassroots Director, Marylou Rawling serving as Fundraiser, IMGE as digital coordinator, and Mark Sykes serving as Treasurer.
“I selected these initial members of my campaign team because they all have one thing in common—they have the necessary experience and desire to elect strong conservatives across the country, especially in North Carolina, and they certainly have the track record to prove it,” said E.C. Sykes. “I have no doubt that we’ve built a winning campaign team, one that will use its experience to deliver our message to the voters in the most efficient and effective way possible.”
Ethan Zorfas of Axiom Strategies is a seasoned general consultant and serves as Vice President of Axiom Strategies, a nationally recognized firm that has served more than 1,100 total campaigns.
LaDonna Ryggs was the State Director for North Carolina and South Carolina on the Ted Cruz presidential campaign. She was most recently a Regional Director with Faith Wins, a national organization devoted to re-engaging pastors and their congregations in the political process. She is also a former Member-at-Large of the National Federation of Republican Women whose region included North Carolina.
Marylou Rawling is a Raleigh based fundraiser who does work for both federal and state races in North Carolina.
IMGE is a full service digital advertising firm specializing in designing and executing integrated digital campaigns that reach audiences in a highly targeted and measurable way.
Mark Sykes is a retired Police Captain of 30 years in the Durham Police Department and the current Treasurer of the Fraternal Order of Police, Durham County Lodge. He also serves as a Deacon at Mosaic Church in Durham.
After being in the race for only a week, the Sykes campaign has raised over $127,000 in contributions, proving that E.C. is the only candidate with the experience and background necessary to win the general election. As a conservative outsider with fresh ideas, he appeals to a diverse mix of voters and will inspire them to turnout at the polls on election day.
