COVID-19 Update

As of 3/20/20 the latest updates for COVID-19 relief initiatives that might help you through this difficult time are:

  • The U.S. Small Business Administration has approved the request for North Carolina’s disaster declaration. See if you’re eligible for an economic injury disaster loan at this link: https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela/
  • The Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina has released a comprehensive list of North Carolina Business Relief Resources for businesses impacted by COVID-19. Resources include databases to alleviate supply chain disruptions, funding resources that provide low interest lending options, business counseling services including layoff aversion strategies, unemployment insurance claim guidance, and other helpful government resources. In addition, President Trump has signed a Coronavirus relief bill that will provide expanded family and medical leave, free coronavirus testing, paid emergency sick leave for up to 14 days, updated unemployment benefit assistance for impacted states, and food assistance for seniors and pregnant women.
